For four years now with Flat Manager we create and implement innovations in the fields of real estate and tourism in Bulgaria. Some of these innovations are actually products and services that have been successfully offered in Western markets for years. With the first wave of the pandemic came the idea to manage serviced apartments, but it turned out that there are still no such in Bulgaria - that's why we started to create them.
What does "serviced apartment" mean? This sounding term, literally translated from English (serviced apartment) has been known abroad for years, but is still not very popular in Bulgaria. This is a fully furnished and equipped apartment for rent traditional long-term lease and offers landlords and tenants additional services - cleaning, repair of damage, 24-hour English language hotline, etc.
Serviced apartments are often rented by foreigners moving to a new country that they do not know well and need assistance and assistance in various matters related to their residence. The help we provide to tenants includes everything from getting the internet up and running and setting up automatic utility bill payment to neighborhood recommendations, restaurants, supermarkets and other places and activities.
However, the benefits of professional service for a rental apartment are for both the tenant and the landlord. The lessor is released from the commitments related to the cases that may arise in the apartment - from a leak or damage of an electrical device to the presence of a general meeting. Often, in addition to lack of time, landlords are also hindered by the fact that they do not live in the same city. The peace of mind that the apartment is kept in good condition is one of the main advantages of the service, because one of the biggest concerns of all home owners is how they will find their property after the rental period ends.
When the apartment is professionally managed by Flat Manager, our team meets regularly with the tenant to make sure everything is fine with the stay. During these meetings, it can be ascertained whether there is smoking inside, whether a pet is kept without the owner's knowledge, and whether it is cleaned and maintained in good condition. Surely no one wants to see what a bathroom looks like that hasn't been cleaned in 2 years or find 2 cats and 3 parrots at a party (true story).
