You may have noticed that we haven't been very active on social media lately. The reason is that for the past 70 days, we have worked tirelessly every day to justify the trust of our first customers and refine every detail of our services. Our goal was to build a product that combined the best practices of Airbnb property management companies around the world. Mission accomplished successfully, and this is the report.
The new brand
The reason we changed our name to Flat Manager is the future integration of other short-term rental platforms such as Booking.com and Expedia. Along with the name change, we decided to change the functionality of the site and its design. If you've ever started out "just repainting the walls in the living room" and then remodeled a bathroom, kitchen, etc., you totally understand.
The new partners
They joined ZAD "Armeets". TaxiMe, 365 Association and GoGuide. Your guests will have no trouble with taxis and will receive a special discount from the great TaxiMe. 365 Association will make sure that they get to know the cities with the best tours of Sofia. Your property will also be supplied with an English version of the cult GoGuide.

At the beginning of the month, our manager Boris Pavlov met with James Jenkins - executive director of Airsorted, the world's largest Airbnb property management company. At the meeting in London, the two discussed not only good practices and optimizations of the operating process, but also stories about non-standard guests and hosts ... maybe we will share some of them in a future post 🙂
The new technology
At the risk of sounding like any other startup, we are more of a technology company than a traditional property management agency. Not many agencies use a machine learning algorithm to determine rental rates. Our employees and subcontractors receive and transmit information through special mobile applications.
We work with Guesty, whose Airbnb property management platform is #1 in the global marketplace. The company has gone through the "startup school" YCombinator, from where Uber and Airbnb themselves started.
The new package of services
12% ! This is the lowest commission for the overall management of an Airbnb property, in the world and in our country. Our new service package differs from the traditional one (20%) only in the requirement for a self-check-in method. You can read more about this method here.
This is far from all, but we still have to keep surprises for our future blog posts as well. It's new too! Stay tuned! 🙂
PS In the meantime, our team doubled, we also started working in Varna, and in the last 5-6 weeks we welcomed and sent over 100 guests, who touched us with their wonderful evaluations.
