New EU rules on short-term rentals will come into force on 20 May 2026, and will change the market in Bulgaria. The new Regulation (EU) 2024\/1028 introduces strict requirements for registration, transparency and data exchange between platforms and the state. For many owners, this creates concerns, but in fact it represents an opportunity for a safer and more regulated market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
